Hello, The bolts are in the fitting kit which secures the lower rubber mount which goes over the fitting rail on the bike and allows for some adjustment (apparently so they don't fall off?) so you will need them as well as the lock set. As we know these are different from the K1200/1300 cases althou...

Hello,

Don't know if it will help but I have the Heli-Bars on mine which were on it when I bought it. I did revert to the originals for a day or so....But found them too extreme so the Heli-bars went back on and I find them a good compromise for day to day commuting.

Best regards,

David

All, Some experience of this.....2 x K1200S & 1 x K1300S (Sadly the K13 was stolen but up to the point it went it was shaping up to be the best bike I had ever had) During an extended period I had a loan K1200R for 2 months and also a K1300R for 3 weeks - I liked them both but IMHO the K13R was ...

After it has dried out all seems we...

Hello, Always had these where possible and I think overall I have benefitted handsomely from them. One of my K1200S bikes was particularly troublesome - Went through 2 FD units, Front shock (ESA) absorber and also the throttle bodies had to be replaced. Way back I had an ABS failure on an old K1200R...

Hello, I have an 2005 F650GS Dakar which I bought a year ago with just 3,250 miles on it as a stop gap after my K1300S was stolen. Initially I didn't want anyone to know I had one and only went out in the dark or with a heavy disguise. However, some 4,500 mile on I actually quite like it and certain...
