Re: Bloody vibes!
Sounds very reasonable, Balderstons wanted £40 to balance mine last year! I had to have it hot when I got there too, he said he thought it would be hot enough after the run down from Bingham near Nottingham Don't know how far a 12S needs to go to warm up, surely not 45 miles?

Still funny though, just saying...

Re: Valve clearances.
I agree, its a fairly quick job, I just stick mine on the Abba stand, stick it in 6th gear, whip off the covers and turn the back wheel watching the rockers fully open. You can see them clearly or get someone to turn the wheel for you as you watch. It turns easily with all the plugs out.

Jim's right, did the valves, new plugs, oil change and balanced the throttle bodies yesterday.Great way to spend an afternoon while the missus was out shopping.

Re: Disc bolts query.
You will be fine one at a time as long as the washers are not split.
I have two new sets of bobbins and washers somewhere that you are welcome to from when I replaced the discs on my 12S. I will find them and let you know the reference number of them if any good?

Re: MZ1000
Loved my MZ Baghira, great little supermoto for flying around London. Top spec parts and a Yamaha XT660 engine to boot.
Would still like one when finances and garage space allow.
