Boy Gus, that's really ugly! Sorry to see this, but's that's racing......had a few like that myself.

I think the only thing I would have done differently would be to have a beer on my bench instead of that water bottle!

Don't let the setback curb your enthusiasm!

Cheers

Dave; I think you have two separate problems. Sounds like your battery is toast.....on it's way out, cannot maintain a good charge. Check your clutch switch again. I was having the same stalling issues with my 12S. Adjusted the clutch switch and all was fine for a short time. Bike began stalling aga...

I saw one at Cannons (Braintree) at the week end - Everyone says that my R1200ST is the ugliest bike BMW ever made I think that passes now to the RS. To me it looks cross eyed from the front. http://bmwmcmag.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/09/R1200RS-2015-099.jpg Naaaa.........your ST is still the ugli...

I rode one a couple of weeks ago at the dealer demo days. Likes; Motor was great! Ergo's were comfy. Styling. Gripes; Styling. Did not like the angle of the bars. Gauge cluster too busy and hard to read. Why didn't they put an electric windshield on it. Trans shifting was very clunky, but that could...

Pazzo long levers on my 12S. I'm fortunate that Pazzo is just a couple of miles from where I live!
I managed to get them to build levers for the HP2 Sport also.....great guys to deal with!

These levers work great!

Thank for the great explanation Gus. I never understood how removing that roller would give us a quicker throttle pull. Now I do! What about fitting HP2 throttle bodies? Or is that just cost prohibitive? I did try one of the gizmo's that attach at the grip area, but it only decreased the pull margin...

I would put fresh fuel in it before I started replacing any parts. The War Departments old GS400 started just fine when I took it out of storage one year, but would not pull it's own weight and would not rev either. Fresh fuel brought the old girl back to life......wish I could say the same for the ...

I decided to see what the HP2 would look like in touring trim. Don't, please! Just don't! :D Question I wanted to ask on that thread: did it damage the exhaust "skating" bolts on the rear fairings? They do slide back and forth a bit, according to the exhaust temperature... Also, I'm envio...

FFS... that thread is... "special"... Yup........I'm the one that started that "special" thread! It was a cold rainy day when I went down to the shop to just look at my HP2 and being the industrious fellow I am, I decided to see what the HP2 would look like in touring trim. But ...
