Nice one mate, you won't be disappointed! I've covered a few miles now, and with a little adjustment, they are just right for me.
Look forward to hearing how you get on!

Re: Shock factory by Mike capon
Hi,
Hope you get some soon! As for a longer spring, when I was enquiring he does offer a lowering/raising of the bike too!
I have covered a few more miles since I fitted them now, and I'm still really impressed at the ride quality!
Cheers,
Rich

Hi guys,
I'm pleased that you have decided to choose mikes shocks, you will be very pleased I'm sure. Well whenever I have spoke to him he has been in France.
I'm sure if you call him he would come up with a plan.
Let's know how you get on.
Cheers,
Rich

Re: Ecu chip/tuning
Update, First run out since winter project. Was very windy so can't report too accurate. Bike ran beautifully, no flat spots or surging. And I feel the power delivery picks up quicker, and smoother. Fuel economy yet to be checked, but I'd expect it to be improved. Main difference to original chip, i...

Re: Shock factory by Mike capon
Update, This afternoon was the first ride out I've had since my extensive winter project. Was not concentrating on one particular aspect, so this is a 'first impressions' review. My riding is fast B roads, minimal breaking or hard acceleration, just high corner speed, lean angle, good quick flowing ...

Re: Winter project
Hello mate,
The carbon dip is as durable as any paint finish, as it is coated over with lacquer, about 4 coats I believe. He does carbon with gold fleck in and other colours and weaves. Looks really trick.
Cheers,
Rich

Re: Winter project
Update, Since I dropped the seat off I decided to get the headlight fairing and indicator pods hydrodipped in carbon fibre. Took them to a local guy as well as fender extender and belly pan (to be re lacquered) Came out superb, flawless finish and incredibly realistic look. Highly recommended. Price...

Wanted - Clear indicator lenses 11s
Hi guys,
I know it's a long shot, but I've tried sherlocks and motorworks and they don't have any second hand ones in stock. I'd pay £40 a pair for the fronts, and £20 a pair for the rears.
Cheers,
Rich

Re: Winter project
They look smart! Today I took my seat up to saddlecraft, really nice bloke, old school bike enthusiast! Reminded me of the alberg place in Richmond. I'm getting the seat redone with high intensity foam, gel pad, new gripper vinyl and a BMW logo embossed in the seat for £165. Will be ready within 2 w...
