Re: Hawes- - July.

Back home - good run back other than 3 miles of filtering to get over the Queensferry Crossing. Good job my panniers are so slim :D . It was great to catch up with various Boxertrixers, old and new. Many thanks to Chris and Amanda for leading the Scottish contingent there and back so well, and of co...

Re: Back End Buccy October 8/9/10 2021

As per my post in the other Buccy thread, I'm gutted I can't get there this year. :( :(

Enjoy it.

Had a great time at Moffat last year :D .
Go through blank page after blank page in the calendar until I get to the weekend of 8/9 October.
Going away with friends to celebrate multiple birthdays. :(

Re: R1200/1250 RS Suspension - Dynamic ESA vs 'normal'

Just goes to show, it's horses for courses - or some other inappropriate epigram. As Dave remembers I much prefer telelever to conventional front forks, although I'm sure Al is right in saying the ESA does mitigate fork dive under braking. The more I think about it, in terms of ride quality and cost...

Re: R1200/1250 RS Suspension - Dynamic ESA vs 'normal'

My 2016 1200RS has ESA and it's handy to reset the suspension when I have Sue as pillion. The suspension works well enough although the rear shock did fail and need a new controller, luckily when it was still under warranty. Prior to the RS I had a GS with ESA but for what it's worth thought the GS ...

Great write up. Best colour scheme of all I reckon, but I'm biased as I had one!

Cheers

Re: Vertu BMW Sunderland

Well done Taz. The RS is a great bike. I've only got the 1200 but have had a few rides on the 1250 and it's even better.

Enjoy the bike.

Hi Peter

Excellent idea - I've booked the Fountain - not far to walk after a drink. I assume The Scottish border guards will be stood down by then.

All the best
