ok, no worries.
Autoglym products I think are the best, but for scratches and the like, I am not sure

Re: Restore panniers
i have a set of brand new panniers for 1100S - availble for purchase
only done 20km which was the ride home from the dealer.
Got them last year as part of an insurance claim
Dealer told me there were now only 3 sets in the world left
Interested?
I think we can do a reasonable price

Re: Oil filler cap
I had the same same on my GS I replaced the Oring on the actual cap but no joy (used a BMW one because of the thickness) and so had to get the plastic insert part that goes in to the valve cover. Problem solved you need parts 5 and 6 from this IPC Picture https://shop.maxbmw.com/fiche/DiagramsMain.a...

Re: Fuel smell
I think the youngest 1100S will be 14 years old now, the covering around the wires wont last for ever.
I recovered ALL my 1150GS wiring in 2012, 10 years old at the time as most of it had broken up - but I live in teh tropics and most rubber products dont last in this environment

Re: Fuel smell
I would check that the breather hoses are free and not blocked.
I dont know / cant put in to words how this may help so maybe I am barking up the wrong tree.
Cant hurt though

That is outragous! Bar stewards! I dont know what can happen from here Another vote that you get back to A&E and get checked out. Maybe a wait but better than nothing. As well, it will add credence to a police file. If you dont (go to A&E) then the police may not take you / this incident as ...

Re: London Emission Zone
Best bit about London - the Singapore Airlines or Cathay Pacific flight out...... Thats all I have. Here in Queensland our road registration (equivilent to vehicle tax) is calcuated on the number of engine cylinders in the car! My 2.5liter 5cylinder TD5 LR Discovery used to pay the same a 5.6liter V...

i agree with having a MOT
other states here in Aus do, just QLD doesnt.
Its fine by me, can run on condition maintenance, but I do actually think it should be in place

Re: MoT's and Tax rolling 40 years rule from May
Here in Queensland, Australia, we dont have an annual test like an MOT. Nothing. You can see some really Jalopies around, particuly out west. I point this out because of the comment where people may pull an old bike out of the shed and then ride it - just because its an old bike doesnt mean it could...
