Farewell too

I've let my R1100S go to a new member so after nearly 2 years and 11,000 miles I'll be sorry to see it go but it's to a great new owner who will no doubt be on here. I'll be hanging around too. I'd love an 1200S one day but for now it's going to be an Aprilia Tuono Gen 1. Thanks for the help and com...

Did the bolt shear? Was it stainless steel or galvanised steel?

Re: 2001 1100S SPEEDO SYSTEM - HOW DOES IT WORK?

There is a sensor in the top of the final drive, a black plastic thing with a wire of fit held in place with a small cap head machine screw.

Re: Recommend this helmet

I've got one of these and its noisier than a schuberth but a lot lighter also the visor can be cracked open 1/2 inch and will stay there at at least up to 80 mph.

These are going for £130+ on a lot of sites but £79 from CMC .

Re: Tyres

I'm on Avon Storm 3Dxm and the front is almost done at 5000 miles. Looks like the rear might make 5500.

Was hoping for more but it's riding style, I thrash it and brake hard.

Re: R1100S 1999 Exhaust cans removal

Once youve released the clamp from the link pipe to the cans, they will come off from the rear but might need a good few whacks with a hammer to get em off

The Y piece is for sale if anyone wants it, I've fitted the cans and they went straight onto mine so this is surplus.

I think you can have a badge, not a medal but you have to buy it yourself after passing the test.
But I would imaging the piss taking from our group would be horrendous.
