Re: Recent trip

It is great Steve. For various reasons I’ve had to miss out on my regular jaunt into Europe and a mate had suggested this trip after being over here with his son earlier in the year. Quiet roads and the friendliness is unreal. Thoroughly recommend it

Re: Recent trip

Just done part of the Wild Atlantic Way today. Crossed from Cairnryan to Belfast and stayed in a b&b on the north coast then done to Cavan 2nd night and headed out to the coast. Presently in a b&b in the middle of nowhere - beats work!!

Re: Parting out parts!

Or, do as I did and get a used pillion seat and spend an afternoon in the man cave with various cutting and filing implements and stick it on then buy the bum pad - expensive and time consuming but not as costly as using a genuine seat cowl (if you can find one!!)

Re: Parting out parts!

you're correct - you have to use an existing seat cowl and dismantle it and stick the carbon cover on

Good find Steve - I could only find used and then you had to enquire about stock - Dave I would go for that

Re: R1100S final drive help needed

Thanks Al. I have thought about that. There's a small stub left and I can get a nut connector on which will give me a guide for a 4.2 tapping drill - there's VERY little play between nut and drill and I can get a 4.2 cobalt drill as the bolt is stainless - my fault entirely this episode  . It ...

R1100S final drive help needed

Can someone from this wonderful posse possibly remove the bolt securing the speedo sensor and see if the hole goes through to the final drive or if it is a blind hole? Many thanks. As you might guess, the bolt has snapped on mine and I'm wondering if I can drill (carefully) all the way through
