Re: WTB: Hugger. WTS: Hugger

Here the wear on the tyre can be seen. It got worse over the day as rubber built up on the inside of the hugger:

Re: Track Day

If you take the cyl head protectors off and unscrew the early warning screws from the footpegs you can get another couple of degrees of lean angle and ride around the outside of people on long sweepers too! R1100S's can out-brake many other sportsbikes, not only because the telelever front end insp...

Unfortunately all my videos except one from one of the first laps were deleted.

So this is from a warmup lap, while still learning the track, so reaaaallyyyyyyy slow:

Re: Ilmberger hugger flew off :(

At the end of the day it is only a crud catcher. GRP any day for me. Cost effective. The weight saving element of cf is totally irrelevant on a boxer tractor. if you can afford CF mudguards you are earning/making your money too easily, if you are prepared to buy another .... :? chris GRP, ho...

Re: Ilmberger hugger flew off :(

Got one on my 12s and my GS - for the price I'm not impressed. There's a ;little rubber bung on the GS which rubs against the shaft tunnel and rubs the paint away. Also got head covers on my 12sand they're not the best fit - not for over £350 new anyway Which one you got for the 12S? My Ilmberger d...

Re: Track Day

Stick with the 11S, maybe not ultimately that quick in terms of lap times, but at least as much fun and there's that sneaky little smile you allow yourself inside your helmet everytime you stick it up the inside of a Gixer in a heavy braking area !! Surprise a few people and use the 11S I'd say. Wh...

It's basically a mechanical traction control :) Considering the R12S has the same torque as an S1000RR but at 6500 rpm rather than 9700 perhaps it is needed...

Now my R12S has played with the big boys at Snetterton

xDefinitely the slowest in the group, couldn't keep up with even the 750s on the straights riding flat out but I could break as hard or harder than many. Some comments were "that's an odd one but you're really taking it round well", "it's handling really good in the corners" and ...

WTB: Hugger. WTS: Hugger

Since I changed tyre my hugger has been rubbing on it which today at Snetterton became to bad for the tyre and I had to remove it. Seems as if I bought a 5.5" hugger which was fine with my worn tyre but not with the profile of the new tyre. So, I need to buy a hugger that fits the 6"/190 r...
