Sounds like the bike is all in order, has the previous owner messed with it? He fitted a full system, any other mods? My 12 was serviced last Sept, ecu flashed with the then latest map (don't know if there has been an update since then) but it transformed mine, can't believe yours has an old map now...

Greg Scala makes the Schuberth system and is compatible. The Schuberth will only allow 3 comms units but I believe the latest Scala will allow 6.
