So far, the Berlin Walks 3rd Reich and Cold War tours look really good. Usually I like to do my own exploring, but with such little time, a guided tour might be the way to go so nothing is missed. I'll do a bit of a search and see if I can get hold of a copy of the BBC documentary, so thanks again G...

One city I have never been to, although we are planning a few days in Berlin next year on our 'turning 50' tour!! Hopefully taking in some of the old Cold War sites, Checkpoint Charlie etc.............any recommendations welcome?

You'll find a few places saying the 1150GS ones will fit.........THEY DON'T!
I'd be tempted to get the ones advertised on here, at least you'll know you're definitely be getting the ones for the 1100S and you can always advertise the rails on here in the future as they will sell.

If your bike insurance is with Carole Nash, you'll have full European breakdown cover included in the policy. Luckily never needed to try it out while I've been away, but by all accounts, it's pretty good cover. I usually find that my bank offer the best personal travel cover, might be worth a phone...

Welcome to the site matey! I'll keep my eye out for you as I get over that way quite a bit with my youngest on the back as it's just far enough for him for now.
Usually stop at the Dee sailing club and admire the view with a bag of chips :D
