Welcome Udhi
It's good to have yet another Northerner in the fold.
I too came from a supermoto, CCM 604, to the R1100S and I wouldn't change it now, its a superb bike and does everything I want it to do.
I hope you enjoy it when the better weather arrives up t'North.
Geoff

I've tried to do it on Photobucket as well, uploading a couple of recent track day pics, but without success. I can get the pictures reduced to avatar size, 100 x 75 no problems, but can't get them down to the required 6KB file size. Is is that the original pics are just too high a resolution? I've ...

Yellow R1200S in Hawes
Spotted a Yellow 1200S parked outside the cafe in Hawes yesterday morning, but didn't manage to spot the owner ........ anyone off this site? I didn't have any calling cards otherwise I'd have left one on the bike. It was about 10:30 in the morning, when I was fueling up with a bacon sarnie! Geoff

I realised as soon as I'd written it that I'd dropped a bollock, just half asleep this morning, at least it's given everyone who's read it a bit of a larf eh? Should've have been in the humour section I think.... I'm not too bad with the spanners actually for routine stuff, so thanks for your ...

Used 5.5" Rear Wheel
Just wondered what's the going rate for a "used" & allegedly undamaged 5.5" rear wheel?
Also if fitted, do they make any real difference apart from the availability and choice of slightly cheaper rear hoops?
Any comments gratefully received.
Cheers

Hi Stuart As everyone else has already stated. You can also try http://www.ebay.de , I've noticed there are generally a lot more for sale on there than on the UK site and the majority of sellers will post to the UK (European Union). They have also started to use Paypal as well to accept payment, whe...

Hi Rich I'm like you with standard suspension units, but I put a shorter paralever arm on the bike last year. It does make a difference and you'll notice how much sharper it feels into a turn, but the centre stand still scrapes on your favourite bends! I only keep my centre stand on for practi...
