ok, im not familiar with the standard tank yet so probably cant tell from a picture.. was thinking a bigger link pipe would add some capacity and as I dont have abs there is probably some space under there..

The feeling of dropping onto one cylinder sounds like the way my gs felt with the kinked throttle cable, maybe check both throttles go all the way to the end stops when wide open?

air filter?

really badly balanced throttle bodies? ( On my GS I had a kink in the throttle cable which meant only one throttle was opening properly and it ran like a bag o poo)

Im not sure not having had my S for more than 3 days but the 021's were showing accelerated wear when fitted to the ST1100 and I think Bridgestone went as far as saying use a 020 on the front with an 021 rear..

How many miles have you done?

I think i know the answer to this but you cant be too sure ;)

The 'nipples' you stick the hoses from the vacuum gauges on are supposed to have little covers to stop the air getting in aren't they?

Well after some fairly serious mythering ive only got 2 days to go before i pick up my DDP R1100S (thanks stevie) unfortunately the weather is looking poo and ill be riding 350 miles or so! Well at least ill get used to it!
