Re: Clutch Replacement 1200S
It’s a lot of money but surely that and possibly another £500 on bits and bobs (verses thousands on a replacement bike) over the next couple of years is worth it. Still a great bike.

Re: I bought another one
Very jealous!! You're right about needing the kick up the ar$e. In the words of Pink Floyd "And then 1 day you find 10 years have got behind you no one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun". Good Luck A cracking line that and one that has resonated with me for about three dec...

R1100S front discs
The 11 went nine years ago (yikes) but I still have these. Bought in anticipation of keeping the 11 a lot longer, these are brand new genuine BMW part number 34 11 2 338 231 front discs. One has been opened, the other still sealed. These are circa £200 each from BMW So for sale at £250 for the pair ...

Re: I bought another one
I’m off to Bergerac. Very nice. I'm sure you will have a fantastic life down there and I wish you the very best of luck with the move. I'm only very slightly green with envy  Cheers, Paul Thanks Paul. There’s a bit of long term risk involved but we need a kick up the arse now and then. I’m re...

Good luck with the move to France. Whereabouts are you going to live?

I bought another one
I shall be leaving for France soon (to live) and the R1200S shall have to be sold I think. I've hardly used it over the last few years as i've had a play with some others and not enough time for them all. I do love it, and i've had some great trips to France and Switzerland on it but at 56yrs and a ...

R&G tail tidy R1200S
R&G tail tidy for the R1200S. This is brand new and never fitted. I bought it and almost immediately a mint used Kellerman item appeared and so I bought and fitted that instead. £40 posted https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/51519282097_ce368e02a9_w.jpg rg 1 by . . , on Flickr https://live.stati...

Well, it's a 'keep me on the road' bike until I decide on something else. I'll probably be taking it to France in a few weeks and i'll see how I feel moving forward.

Beautiful bike, how many miles has it covered?
10k Rob. he told me that when he gave it a 'real' clean he spent 16 hours on it!

Not a BMW
So, I was asked to post a couple of pics of the Fazer when I got it. I've had it a few weeks now and done a few hundred miles on it. It came with the suspension set to full hard (previous owner was 5stone heavier than me!) so i've dealt with that and it's actually pretty good now. The rear shock is ...

Re: R1100S Ohlins rear shock
17mins................... Not surprising, really  Yeah, I could probably have got more for it on Ebay but I would really rather someone on the forum got a good deal. That's what these places are supposed to be about. It was good value when i bought it. It should be good value when I sell it.

R1100S Ohlins rear shock
Rear shock in good overall condition, but will need a service. No chips on yellow paint. All adjusters work fine. It was fine when I boxed it some years ago but on inspection today it appears to have leaked some oil. Maybe it didn't like being left on it's side for so long. I bought it used from thi...
