Mmmmm? Dunno about "informed" but here are my thoughts: The "old" K in-line 4 RS had the traditional BMW virtues, with a smooth, powerful motor but also the size/weight/bulk. Stoppie things coped with all that was asked of them (except to avoid the back of that BMW cage!!) :oops:...

I've tried the GS but, as with the R12S, it ain't for me...as Pierre said "each to his own". As for Saturday's testride.... Absolutely AWESOME! Completely blown away - in the same way that I was with the R11S but the K is a little (?????) quicker, handles even when ridden by a t**t like me...
