Hi Now the R1200RS (2016) has gone I wondered if anyone was interested in these valve cover protectors? They are BMW part number 77 14 2 465 251 and new now cost £242 :shock: . They will fit the same model GS, R, RT engine as well of course. As you can see they do work. I have over balanced the bike...

Like Gwayne, I was taken by the new Motorrad sport colours for the 1250RS. Went for a look, just looking honest, and that led to a test ride and that led to this.




It's going for its first service next Wednesday before the trip to Wales, see you there.

I'm surprised that you both are looking to replace an R1200RS with a Guzzi. You hit the nail on the head! There's nothing wrong with the RS, it's a great bike. Day-long comfortable, fast enough for me, not a GS and not an RT :D I've had mine 6 years and although the 1250RS is a bit better it's not ...

Thanks for the report. Getting a ride on a Mandello is on my 'to do' list, also to replace a R1200RS. It got a good review in MCN but like you I'm not sure about the service and support.

Something for a dry day in the coming months.

Lovely guy. I thought I kept my bikes clean until I saw Bob's. He was very generous with his time and, as Paul says, provided s/s bolts and more (including titanium front axles) for the group.
