Help!!

Got the bike (R1200S) out of storage last week, struggled to start but got it running, flat battery. Back at the house and on charge overnight and not enough to start. New battery ordered and fitted just now, turn on and nothing, no lights, no dash, no whirring, zip. Multi meter showing 13v across t...

Like that a lot, lovely bike. A mate had one when they first can out, we all thought it was the best thing ever.
Which it was when you had TS185's and DT175's as your bench mark.

Re: !2 volt blanking plug

If it's on a R1200S then I think there was a cover on mine?

If not, look on the K1300S parts page, the same socket is next to the battery which is under a cover on the 'tank'. That had a blank plug in it and they are the same socket.

Hope that helps

Re: Dreaded insurance

Hi Dave, I use Ridersure through a broker that we have used for ages, can give a number if interested, about £350 for my two R1200S with all the mods on the silver one declared, but they wouldn't put the R1200RS on the same policy, too new. Gin has her S1000RR and K13S with them as well, about £450 ...

Re: R12S Heli Bar Fitment

Mine bike was a straight swap, no need to change the brake line, loads of slack even when bike is on the Abba stand and the shock fully extended. There was another thread about Heli bars a while back, I think I started it. The problem I had was the kill switch hitting the fairing on full lock and tu...
