Re: Main & Dip upgrade

I was also in N Wales on the R11S at the weekend and riding in the dark to the B&B on Llanberis on Saturday could have done with more light so any information gratefully received.

Might I have waved at you on the A5 on Sunday?

Re: Hexhead alternator belt.

hmm......Is it that the 'elast' belt allows for some flex to enable fitting a belt to fixed centres and therefore may be 10mm longer when stretched? Seems that both contitech '4pk582' and '4-k592 elast' seem to be listed for hexheads? Having watched a youtube video I suspect that the 'elast' variant...

Re: Hexhead alternator belt.

Curious as I am looking for one for a service........ why is a 4PK592 equivalent to bmw 582? I am happy to be educated.

The photo I can find online for the belt I need suggests 4PK582 is the part no?

Unless yours has a modified larger tank I'd be shooting for 130 miles rather than 150.

Re: R1200/1250 RS Suspension - Dynamic ESA vs 'normal'

I have ridden a few 1200 and one 1250 RS previously, though I think all were ESA. I am looking more keenly at adverts now for tell tale silver forks and hydraulic preload adjusters Having done some research there are options for improved fork inners (on the 1200 at least) should that be necessary, g...
