R1100S- It just cut out
Hi All My bike hasn't been out for a while, and over Christmas I fitted a new battery, fitted upgrade Bosch injectors and an oil / filter change, I went out for a quick spin , after about 10miles the bike cut out for just a split second whilst overtaking a car, ran ok for another mile and did the sa...

Re: Lower fork mounted driving lights
Hi
I have used the fender mount on my FJR1300 and used a plastic spacer with a protective piece of rubber tape for the LED spot light to clear the fender and aid grip. I may have used a longer bolt and put a lock nut on the inside.

Re: 10mm off set Telelever R1100S
Hi Dave
I have received the same email.
I think I will try the shorter torque arm from a GS first and see how that goes before forking out for a new modified Telelever arm.

Re: Paddock Stand
Hi Chaps Thank you for replies. I'm after a simple quick stand to lift both wheels off the ground for tyre warmers. I have an Abba stand but it would be too much fafing about at the track as there are 7 sessions. I have seen some photos of Boxer cup bikes with a paddock stand under the rear foot peg...

Paddock Stand
Hi Chaps I'm pondering whether to get another cheap R1100s or use the one I have to do a few track days next year. Last time out I left the centre stand on as I needed it for the tyre warmers between sessions. It decked out a bit, so I'm thinking a temporary stand or front and rear stands instead . ...

Re: Curing my rattling throttle bodies
Hi Pete
Would it be ok to post this on the UKGSER.COM web site? It looks like the 1100S has the same throttle bodies as my 1150GS. I'm just about to make a order from Bearing Boys. Cheers

Re: Track Day Brands Hatch
It was a great day out Yogi. Last one on the 1100s as I now have some sticky tyres for my TT600 and a set of wets, so it may never rain at Brands Hatch again.

Re: Track Day Brands Hatch
Yes the stand did touch down round Druids a bit. Only left it on as I need it to put tyre warmers on, I don't have a paddock stand.

Track Day Brands Hatch
Had a wet start to the first track day of the year at Brands on Thursday 14/3/2019 .After lunch the sun came out which was a lot better as I don't have a set of wets. Think it might be the last on the 1100S as it is a bit good for the track, got a TT600 in the garage so might use that in future. htt...
