Re: No fuel at injectors.

I can't really put it back to standard. The bike has some mods on it which makes it run lean so the PC 111 is necessary for the optimum performance. I have not investigated further as I have been training yesterday afternoon and this morning and starting night shift tonight. Next week will be the ea...

Re: No fuel at injectors.

Capacitors would have discharged a very long time ago and who remaps an 11s. Anyway, connected the 9V battery to it and the bike fired up instantly. So I guess that somewhere there is a power supply issue.

No fuel at injectors.

I'm afraid that this is a Power Commander 111 issue. During the winter there was no problems starting the R1100S (ridden infrequently I should add) but yesterday it refused to be coaxed into life. Fuel pressure ok as pump runs until pressure is build, fuel in tank is more than 5 litres, spark at spa...

Blody 'ell Steve. I'm glad you are ok sort of. This could easily been very nasty. May the scrotes rot in hell, soon.

Re: Service

You should have a service book and an owners manual. The recommended service intervals are given as well as the oil spec.

BTW it is every 6k miles or one year, whichever is first. You can shorten the oil change intervals but unless you use it hard I won't bother.

James Sherlock BMW

Hi I don't post here too often nowadays but I'm sprucing the 11S up and putting the luggage back on. This involved replacing the chipped headlight, the cracked indicator pods (god knows how many I have replaced because they all crack at the inside screw hole) and fitting the luggage rails and rear f...

Re: R1100S with rare and tasty bits (now with pics)

Hi, thanks for the comment. It is stompgrip but they don't do a design for the 11S. Order one for the Honda SP2/SP1. One of the best things to make riding any bike a lot better as you can clamp the tank with the knees and keep the body in position without siding around on the seat when you brake or ...

He does really good work. Certainly different but I will withhold judgement until seen in the flesh. You won't have trouble finding it at a race meeting

Re: Insurance Claim

Have a look on realoem (http://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/partgrp ... 22%2C0432_) but I don't think the whole harness is needed. Have a word with your local. It seems rather high for a repair. Maybe the quote has been loaded to aquire a breaker bike.

Thank you. But that is very easy, just don't ride it. It starts on the button with the choke on. Most reliable bike BMW built.

First refusal goes towards the buyer and then I have another person that has expressed an interest in the panniers and rails. Thank you.

2014 BMW R1200GS Adventure (now with pics)

BMW R1200GS Adventure TE. White, 20300 miles (this will increase but not a lot). Full BMW service history. Motorcycle is in rust free condition. £11000 ONO Centre and side stand suffered from the usual paint loss due to peppering by the road grid. I have covered the winglets and small screen in Plas...
