It's like the bastard love child of an RT and my GT. It appears that Triumphs designers have taken the lazy option and taken to plagiarism.

don't forget there's a side thrust adjustment too on the rockers, I think, I seem to recall it's a wide variable and dealerships will often not adjust 'cos it's "within" tolerance when even so it will rattle.

many years ago I did the shims on my Z650 and took the cams out as required to do them. When all reassebled it ran like a bucket of spanners, fearing I'd mistimed it and bent a valve I stripped it and checked ..... many times over the course of two days .... before finding a crack in the ceramic of ...

Re: Tyres

<snip> Profile reminded me of Dunlop Roadrunner of old but grip was def less the designer's priority than mileage, and I junked them after 5,000 miles before either was shot. <snip>: Pirelli Diablo - good but R wore quickly in the middle despite lashings of cornering. Great feel to the edge (beyond...

All joking apart, I sadly know of at least one incident involving a mobile phone using young woman killing a young guy on a GSXR600. I see plenty of them on the roads, mostly easy to spot due to the erratic driving. So as they're dishing out death to others I see no reason to have an eye for an eye ...

not being difficult or anything ..(what me be contentious???) But I really really don't see how having a bike related question in the car test would stop some dozy 18 year old from crashing into me. What may be of more use would be to reinstate the death penalty for those who text while driving :) ....

Aaaaaargggghhhh!!!! <oops sorry...someone started a thread about the 'O' word stuff> ;) Seriously.... 1. The Boxer engine isn't particularly sophisticated/high revving etc. 2. It doesn't need posh synthetic oil (see point 1). 3. Change it every 3000 miles - a good mate of mine (ex RAF engine tecchy...

write/email VOSA asking them, mentioning that it's a factory option etc. Then if he's wrong they'll give an advisory to the MOT man in question. I got in touch with them when I first had my K12 and a design flaw meant it wouldn't tickover less than 3k rpm after it had been on a motorway for a while....

Suggest you boys visit Bergen Belsen camp and museum near to Hohne barracks in Germany where she died. Not a bird sings there still today, very eerie and moving place to visit, as is her families house in Amsterdam. I visited Belsen a few years ago with my Mum and brother (who was living in Braunsc...
