Mine was on the disc mounting bolt hole.
Exactly a week after they did it, the drive shaft snapped! Not related i assume but took the shine off the recall :(

There was a recent recall, my final drive flange was replaced a couple of months ago FOC. Turns out mine was cracked!!! If you haven't had yours done, get in touch with your local dealer and ask. They have all of the recalls on their system.

Thanks chaps, fitted the rack without too many problems although you are right about the footrest hanger bolts!! Care needed there. I will probably go the Germany route £385 for the lot, got the rack for £40 so a good saving there thank god

Been using a Drift for years now, you can pick up a second hand one on eBay for about £90. Even the 720p has good resolution. If you use the helmet mounts the camera doesn't stick out like the GoPro, very streamlined and stable even at speed.

R1200S Panniers

Don't suppose anyone has any R1200S panniers in the shed needing to be sold? Got the mounting rack but the panniers are like rocking horse poo!

Hi All
Another new member! Had my 1200S for 3 years, its covered 65,000 miles now including a tour from the Midlands down to Catalunya and goes out to play in all weathers. Good to find a decent forum and hope I can contribute as well as cadge some advice at times.
