Bar Backs - longer hoses needed??

Thinking of buying a set in the classifieds and wondered if I would need longer brake lines from the bar to the junction on the frame? Anyone know for sure? The web site doesn't help

Oil filter removal

Well, managed at long last to get the remains of the filter out using my "Heath Robinson" tool. Decided to change the plugs as well and two looked like they had been found on the Titanic. Would post a picture if I could work out how from my iPad....... Why oh Why do people, supposedly inte...

ABS Brake lines

I have just got mine from Venhill after sending my originals for them to measure up etc. I received four lines - one from right caliper to junction box on right side of frame, one from the other pipe in same area to master cylinder and one from solid metal pipe across forks to right caliper plus the...

Boxer Cup

That was me - saw the listing for the BCR and thought that was something like my recently acquired BCR needs to look like. Bought an after market filter and alloy holder for it, a pair of EMC shocks so the process has begun. Would be interested in the rank cover and seat if you decide to kart out an...

Thanks for the messages kind sirs! Once I sort out the nightmare that is the remains of the oil filter, I will be trying to get out and about on the BCR.

As previously stated, kettle always on if any forum members are passing!

Oil filter fitted by Godzilla

Having recently bought a 2003 Randy Mamola BCR rep, I decided it would be prudent, despite the service record etc supplied, to change oils and filters starting with the engine oil. Now the problems have started! Despite using the correct size oil filter tool to unscrew the filter, it was in so tight...

EMC shocks and aftermarket air filter

Got the chance to buy the above from a seller not far from my home. Anyone have EMC shocks fitted? Are they vastly superior to stock? Just bought my 2003 BCR rep so trying to get feedback before committing. Also, any views on the air filter assembly ( part has an alloy top and bottom with a K and N ...

Another new Trixter.......

Just registered having taken the plunge and spent £3500 on a 2003 Randy Mamola BCR with ABS, heated grips and almost full BMW service industry. Just started to "detail" starting with a good clean, stainless fasteners and a fluids change. Joins my GS1200, LT1200 and 916. If anyone is passin...
