That is very good mpg, I get no where near that, closer to 100 miles before the count down starts at about 40 miles!

Glad you had a good time.

'Quite a few of us on here from this neck of the woods, we need a meet up at a suitable spot for natter and a drink before the summer finishes, Tavistock possibly?' Sounds good. Looks like both you and Phil have time booked in Sept so pick a date to suit and we'll work around it. Busy on the August ...

Hi Phil, yes, often at Minehead on the bikes, our regular Sunday ride out. K13 is newish (to us) so will not have been there much this year but what a bike!

Gin used to have a white CB1000R or a blue Tiger 955 which would have been parked up close to the R12.

If the Silver R12 had a loudish exhaust and was followed a little bit behind by a k13 then is was me and my wife out for a run from Taunton. K13 is hers.

You could try Cornwell Insurance Services (CIS). They are brokers who used to be in Redruth but in Camborne now I think. We have used them for years - used to know the owner well when it was Planned Insurance. Quote for my R1200S this year (about a week ago) was £183 fully comp with about 3k of mods...

Used them several times, online and at their store in West Bay.
No problems, very good service and price.

I wonder if there is a market for a switchgear mod for BMW's. Rode mine in the rain for the first time today (not intentionally). I was surprised how sure footed it felt. Hello AJB I saw a kit somewhere (may have been Nippy Normans) that lets you use the same button to cancel the indicator i.e. one...

Opps, just checked the gps web site, seems to have gone up a tad but you do get the 256mb card and the latest software.
