Re: Additional lights linked into canbus

I've calmed down now and realise that I should have checked up on the importation of goods from outside the EU.

Anyway, the lights are fitted and working - it's like riding in daylight.

Are they worth the money? I struggle to say yes but what price do you put on your own safety?

And contrary to popular belief, the biker guys were riding swiftly but sensibly. The only people going balls out were two guys in cars.

Re: Has the world gone mad?

Yes to what everyone has said. I felt that I got a good price for mine; no regrets. But I do smile when I see these huge figures.

Reminds me of the time I sold an Action Man plane on fleabay for £10. Without wings!!

Has the world gone mad?

I am referring to the number of BCRs now on sale at ridiculous prices, including one at over £10k !! And that's for a bike that is over 12 years old, in standard BCR trim. I obviously gave mine away when I sold it last year for £6,500.

Re: Brake Bleeding problem

Don't know if it helps but when I fitted new brake lines to my non-abs BCR initially I could not get the fluid to pump through to the callipers. I found that by manually pushing the pistons as far back into the callipers each time I pumped the brakes seemed to help clear the air out of the lines.
