Julian

I had a good look last night, but can't find the brackets. Looks like it might be the sick squid option. To fit mine I had to bend one connector, and it didn't feel like it weakened it substantially. You might be OK without them.

Julian

I'll have a look in the garage tonight. If you need them in a real hurry I can post them to you.

Strangely enough my bike has less low-down grunt with the Staintune fitted. It feels like it's really lean, and I worried that fitting a K&N and Lennies as well could only make things worse, unless the injection system has some element of closed loop control. It makes a GREAT noise though and is...

Engine Paint

Has anyone found a match for the icing-sugar based paint that BMW use to change the colour of the cheese castings to silver? My bike had never been used in the wet when I bought it yet the stuff still managed to start going crusty, so I reckon it's time to start keeping it tidy. Any suggestions welc...

If this is a sliding caliper, I would look at possible wear on the pins it slides on, causing the fixed pad to jam on the disk?

Might be complete b****x but I'm sure this used to be a problem with old h*nda calipers.
