Re: have we immunity from the BHP infection?

Back to topic, Eicma this coming week, Moto Guzzis new LC sports tourer will be revealed, it looks absolutely divine but what will the BHP be? i`m guessing much the same as my 12r 125bhp. Hi Chris, according to the weekly comic the new Guzzi is 113 bhp and 77 ftlbs which is OK for me. 17.5 L tank a...

Re: Any updates on Wales 2022??

I actually got an email from the Lion yesterday advising me they were closing and asking me to contact them for a refund of my £50 deposit. Did so and they are processing it now. Very impressed by the way they have handled it all.

Re: Renewing licence at 70

The end to the story. My mate actually managed to speak to someone at the DVLA who assured him it wouldn't be a problem. He applied on-line and has now received his new licence back, complete with his motorcycle entitlement. Thanks for all the useful, and some not so useful :D , comments. All the be...

Re: Renewing licence at 70

Being able to drive a 7.5 wagon and trailer might be an ideal pension top up idea in the present transport chaos :D Hadn't thought of that, I won't mention it to my wife, she'll have me starting on Monday. Not having me around and earning money for her would be a temptation she couldn't resist. :D

Re: Renewing licence at 70

Thanks all for your help guys. Looks like a date stamped photo is well worthwhile and I must admit I like the idea of getting a duplicate before pulling the trigger on renewal. Illogically I like that I can drive a 7.5 tonne with trailer, even if I have no intention of doing so, so will miss having ...

Renewing licence at 70

A friend (honest, it's not me, I'm only 68 :( ) has nearly reached that magical age and is applying for his new licence. He knows he'll lose his historic entitlements for trucks etc. (C & D groups) but he's worried because the Government on-line application site talks about issuing a new 'car' l...

Re: Levels of stupidity on a School Day

Could have been a lot worse Gawaine, so that's a result!

We have 1 diesel and 1 petrol car, as well as the bike, and I have thought before the Shell pumps are an accident waiting to happen. Got as far as taking the wrong nozzle from the holster, but not actually trying to fill.

Re: Hawes- - July.

To add insult to injury, the sidewall of my tyre got ripped so I had to fix that before cycling home & getting to A&E

Well hard :D

Speedy recovery Alastair.

Re: Hawes- - July.

I was gutted to have to cancel this last Wednesday after faceplanting whilst out cycling. The plastic surgeon sewed my lip back on & the dentist will fix my broken teeth. What actually happened Alastair? Was it a road bike or mountain bike you were on? Wishing you a speedy recovery, and as smal...

Re: Hawes- - July.

Hi all Chris asked me to give all those at Hawes this weekend an update. He can't get onto the site himself as his computer is at home - and he's in York! The bike was collected no problem yesterday but they could not get Chris home. In the end his brother-in-law, who lives in York, collected Chris ...
