Re: Tune in, turn it up and rip your knob off!

Here's one for your delectation https://youtu.be/6bfPwtUTP4k A really clever mash up :D Thanks Steve, that's brilliant :thumbright: . He's got Johnny Cash's voice off pat. Enjoyed his cover of Cohen's Hallelujah as well. IMHO the best song ever written - especially performed by Jeff Buckley :headba...

Re: Welsh Weekend 2017 version 2

What a great way to spend a weekend! Thanks for sorting it out Steve :thumbright: ...and thank you for throwing in the Motorrad Weather Pack. The Lion Hotel was good (though they didn't seem too keen on 'lock ins' for residents :D ). The ride out was excellent as always. Only 22 bikes this year (wel...

Re: Blood bike petition

I would imagine that, if the petition was successful, an emergency response training course pass would be a requirement; administered by police or ambulance instructors/examiners anyway. BTW the ambulance service motorcycle instructors I know are either ex-police or current police 'subbied in', and ...

Re: Chris R Harris - BMW technician

Nice example Jim :D I have similar experience. When the split-rim wheels on my new BMW Mini started to corrode under the lacquer after a year they let me choose a different set from the catalogue and fitted them with new tyres. No quibble and no charge. Oh, and they valeted the car. Wind forward 10 ...

You must've been saving brownie points for a decade or so - or she's under the patio already

Patience will reward you with a beaut, I'm sure. Welcome.

Re: Chris R Harris - BMW technician

Just re-read it. I don't think he was having a pop at new BMW buyers - just the product and, as he sees it, the misguided 'new' BMW philosophy behind the fall in product quality.

Re: Source of "little 10mm fuel hose clips" or "jubilee" replacements....

Good to know - thanks I have sourced a variety of sizes in stainless single applications clips - should get them fitted at the weekend. Mind you I tried getting the fuel filter out of the tank on of my R1100S at the weekend - what a nightmare - I gave up in the end - any tips? - should I take the b...
