i did my 1150 that way ,,, took all the big ugly bits off , folded a nice alloy box for the electrics , sealed it with tek 7 , no problems what so ever ,,, little by pass brake pipe made and fitted , back brake hose was long enough to just fit onto the cylinder ,, cut off all the steel pipes and thr...

if its got a battery internally fitted ,,, why not connect it to the canbus live terminal at the headstock , used for sat nav if its nicked your bound to notice before the internal battery runs flat , and when your riding it will be charged uo. or do you leave the bike outside for days. if its like ...

ive a yuasa in mine , and it always spins over fast enough , mind you , mine does live on an optimate ,,, maybe the alarm is pulling your battery down a bit , if its standing about a lot.
