R1100S Indicator Auto Cancel

I have had the bike 2 years now and I still find the auto cancel a PITA, often needing to have the indicators put back on to keep them on as long as is needed. My other machines do not have the facility so I am quite capable of switching them off when needed! Is there a way to either: - extend the t...

Madam now has an 09 F800 like the one in the photo above without the lowers. Seems to ride well, though damp roads and motorway maybe wasn't the best test.

Ta for all the advice.

Been to look at an 06 bike today. Totally immaculate, would never guess the age. Done <500miles in the last 4 years with only 4500 miles in total. Aside from a knackered battery there was a slight coolant weep from the area of what I assume is the water pump on the RHS of the engine and then there w...

Anyone with BMW F800S knowledge?

Madam passed her bike test yesterday so looking for a suitable bike and looking at an F800S. One thing that worries me a little is the reputation of the early bikes for having piston slap problems? Anyone with any knowledge? The bikes we are looking at are 06, 56 and 58 reg. Interestingly the 58 reg...

Wilco. An X1 Alu swingarm is winging its way from the USA and will be delugged and polished before going on. I need to fit a billet front engine mount as origin mounts and bolts eventually give in (crack) and you need to catch them before that happens! And I need to get rid of the awful standard foo...
