Re: dmmsta's R11S
That really is a beautiful bike, stunning in fact, it looks like new.
Rare to see one without a rear hugger but it looks much cleaner.
Is it very low mileage?
edit:- just seen your other post with mileage!

I did this conversion on my 'S' and started this thread with the results in late 2012. I actually have before/after dyno results but I'm loathe to publish them after the many naysayer opinions already posted here. Read the whole thread which was quite interesting in a 'too good to be true' sort of ...

Re: Givi Tanklock Bags - is the front strap necessary?
I've got a big one, the XS307 It doesn't have a strap (I don't think) I like how it fits as it doesn't touch any bodywork, very good design, I've tried to pull it off and its very secure This is the advertising blurb 'The TankLock system on the GIVI XS307 TankLock Tank Bag eliminates the need of str...

The R1150GS has gone to a good home
During my search for the right Boxer Cup Rep I was offered a standard R1100S that I couldn't refuse
Well chuffed, I will update with pics in due course
Take care
