Superb!
I'm about to make the tea but it's not going to be as good as the tucker in your photos.

Re: Screensaver material
Fantastic! Thanks Fontana. Not heard of her before. I like finding out about old test riders, a lot of them seem to have had really interesting lives.

Re: Screensaver material
Great photo. Do you know the rider or place? I thought the rider had the look of Olga Kevelos but it's probably not her. Might the reg plate be Swedish?

Re: IS ROCK DEAD?
Always a top rant when there's mention of the miners' strike. Knocking a point off though for not getting Wolfie Smith in there somewhere. Glastonbuggery is a mainstream showcase for mainstream music and has no place in the world of the music afficiando. It's rather like a motorcyclist listening to ...

Nice. Reminds me of back-in-the-day when we had more interesting colour schemes. A lot nowadays are dull or garish.

Re: Parking fines

Terrible news. I'm sure everyone here will be thinking of them but it's hard to put those thoughts into words. Please pass on our condolences to Reg and Gwen if you speak to them Steve.

Re: Shorty Pipe for R1200S
You see the 1200 R and GS with a similar setup and with Akrapovic race cans so it shouldn't be too difficult, but I expect you would need a power commander or remapping to optimise the fuelling, particularly if the cat is dispensed with.

Re: Latest GS competitor....
I watched the Enfield promo video a few months ago. I think the idea behind it is that it's light (unlike the GS) and mechanically relatively simple (unlike the GS) and relatively cheap (unlike the GS) and therefore better suited to genuine 'adventure' off-road-middle-of-nowhere riding. The GS is a ...
