Hi

I powerd mine by splicing into the accesory lead and have had no problems so far, also alows you to disconnect the power if you are not using the GPS for a while.

I have also haird wired the sound output into the autocom box.

Front fork seals

Noticed yesturday that the nearside front fork seal is weeping oil.

Anyone replaced these, if so is it a big job, any tips.

When I was at the NEC looking at the Schuberth / Rukka / Daytona stand and in one of the desplay windows they had a new communications system based on blue tooth technology, so might be worth giving the uk importers a call to check it out

Wunderlich do a part that clamps to the centre stand and has a rubber stop on it that goes against the Paralever arm.
Part No. is 8600040 - do not have the price as their UK cataloge conveniently does not give prices

If you change stands would suggest you buy a new retaining bolt at the same time (On sale or return if possible) as it would seem that some of the side stands have a different thread size, as I found to my cost when I did mine.
