Welsh Forest Signpost Change Scandal!

No doubt someone has been paid ££££££s to come up with the idea of 'rebranding' a Welsh forest and changing the signs to ones less green coloured and less good. It's a national disgrace! https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/827/26995594937_a4679f1b65_b.jpg (BIG) https://c1.staticflickr.com/1/827/2699559493...

Mobile tyre fitter - West Midlands - Trusted Tyres

A 'thumbs up' for Trusted Tyres, mobile tyre fitters in the West Midlands. I needed some new tyres for my K1, fitted ride-in/out, and having tried a few local bike tyre dealers who either quoted an eye-watering price or ignored my email, I found Trusted Tyres on a Google search. Jon's quote was the ...

Re: Welsh Weekend 2018 - IS LIVE :D

Can't make the whole day tomorrow but I should be able to meet you all at the start and the run to the first tea/coffee stop. I'll be on a K1 with my son pillion. See you in the morning hopefully.

Re: Track Day Insurance?

Tend to agree with Popsky, if it's a special bike then don't risk it. Even if you're confident to ride at your own pace there's always the risk of some idiot taking you out. Track days nowadays seem to be Wannabe Racer Days, all the fun taken out of it. I'd have a look at track bike hire, or do a 'f...

Re: Shocked

Terrible news Steve. Agree with trying the walk-in centres. Similar thing happened to my dad, but that was back in the 80s when there were lots of police doing 'proper' police work. They were on the case straight away and the person was caught and prosecuted. Nowadays I avoid going out Friday/Saturd...

Re: Greetings From Shropshire

Hi Paul, welcome to the forum. The S is a great bike and a great sporty compliment to the RT. I'm not far from B'north, maybe we can have a run sometime (when the snow stops...).

Post some pics of the bikes here or Boxerpix section when you have time.
John.

Re: Motorworks bike sales

I like black, but there does seem to be a train of thought that if you're going to have a K1 then you may as well get the 'garish' colour ones!

Motorworks bike sales

A 'thumbs up' for Motorworks bike sales. I bought my K1 from them and was very pleased with the service. The purchase and p/x prices were fair and communication & delivery were hassle free. I'd be happy to use them again. https://c1.staticflickr.com/5/4724/28353128459_85b017b212_z.jpg

Re: brick

Thanks David. Hopefully I can get the insurance & tax sorted out tomorrow and the sun will shine(!) and I can report back on how it goes. In the meantime I can confirm that a thermos flask and packed lunch fits in the rear pannier bodywork!

I have a batch of bike paintings for sale that my wife painted a few years ago as she needs the space in her studio. They are all acrylic paint on card, approx. size 45x32cm (A3), unframed. All priced each at £10 plus £6 UK postage*. Total £16 (paypal 'gift'). PM me if interested. Thanks. Pictures: ...

NEC Motorcycle Live Bike Park theft warning

A warning about the Motorcycle Live NEC Bike Park for anyone thinking of going... We went today and on returning to the bikes found that some scrote had knicked the hand guards off my friend's R1150. They had to remove the bar ends and a couple of other bolts so it wasn't a quick or spur of the mome...

Motorworks email warning

A possible warning... I got an email last night from "info@motorworks.co.uk" saying that I am entitled to a free Caberg helmet, I just have to pay the p&p, amd with a link to take up the offer... It all looks completely genuine with my address and phone details, plus Motorworks's compa...
