in the end a mate sorted me out with the moly grease i just had to nip into M sport and pick it up. The joys of having contacts still in the trade.

There's one in lloyd Honda carlisle for sale. Not advertised as it's a customers bik so a private sale. Can't remember what they wanted for it but I think it was in the right ballpark. (15k?)

Thanks for the comments. As I said it's speculation at the moment. Yes I do realise about the gearbox, but it needed a bearing and I'd rather be honest. Price is possibly high. But by the time you all for haggling it'll end up about 6 which I reckon is about right for luggage and brand new wilbers. ...

Possibly thinking of selling my RWB boxer cup rep to finance a silly purchase. 28k miles,good overall condition with brand new wilbers shocks front and rear brand new PR3 tyres, brand new rebuilt gearbox and clutch. Yep. when I put the rear subframe back on I put the abba behind the bloody side stand. That was half an hour wasted trying to figure out how to get it off the bloody thing.

Neil, splines on the clutch are fine, it's just a build up of moly grease ar the back that makes them look less worn. Got most of it back together tiday after losing about 3 hours fighting to get the prop shaft on. Long story but my mate that helped me didn't make sure it was properly engaged so had...
