That's not a bad curve. But the fuelling does seem a bit out. Typical emissions flat spots.

Yep that's the one. £250 for a new one, that's silly money, and aboit 70 for a second hand one with motorworks seriously skint this week so was hoping to get one cheaper. Already spent £60 on new bearings and am desperate to get the bike back on the road. It's not an essential for the rebuild at the...

I often see people going through on a " dark amber" just after its changed, but that's unreal. Yes I might have chanced it in the past when there's a set of temporary lights at a roadworks which are totally unnecessary but that's just taking the piss.

Todays update. bloke near me wasn't in today so had a go myself. Heat gun on the case and got it to about 130C output shaft slid out but the intermediate shaft took a load of brute force with a slide hammer to get out. Anyway upshot is that the inter shaft bearing is shagged, so easy fix, I'll order...

Quickly is a relative term. Took about 3.5 hours which I thought was pretty good. Nope, haven't got the clutch off yet, my back had had enough by then. So I'll look at that tomorrow. I originally thought that if it's the clutch it'll be a cheap fix,and then I looked at the price of a complete clutc...

Had an awful noise starting to come from the bike last time out, Whining/grinding noise when running and in neutral that went when i pulled the clutch in. Difficult to tell how bad it was whilst riding due to not being able to hear much over the sound of the full lazer system, but when in gear on th...

Might be too obvious, but have you charged it up first. I've seen loads of new batteries with very little initial charge on them

I had a k1200r and absolutely loved it. Fuelling is easily sorted with a little wire in plug thing(about £20). panniers are on the small side unless expanded and then very wide- apparently you can get a full fave helmet in them, but I never managed it. Economy is superb-easy to get 50mpg, nothing to...
