USB charger

I want to mount a weatherproof USB charger to power GPS unit, somewhere near bars/cockpit. Do I need to have an in-line fuse if I pick up power from lights? :?

Out of interest ..how much dismantling to access air/oil/fuel filters? BMW improving in that respect?..now with a gold (to pick up forks) or white rim tape :wink:

Wilbers have front and rear shocks, both my bikes have rear remote Hydraulic preload, and high and low speed compression damping adjustments.
