Re: Anyone fitted Barbacks to BCR-how long cables?

With an Ohlins on the rear (and front) you should have a ride height adjuster on the shock which ...

Re: Anyone fitted Barbacks to BCR-how long cables?
You can also check to see if you have the standard (long) or GS (short) paralever arm, as that makes and inch or so of extra ride height on the rear with the short one.

Re: Anyone fitted Barbacks to BCR-how long cables?
Common problem for a bars above the yoke and also barbacks when fitted. I just went to my local hydraulic hose company (Friction hydraulics in Telford) and they made me up some Stainless braid covered lines a couple of inches longer for the brakes. Throttle and choke were ok. Venhill do custom bowde...

Maybe unbalanced throttle bodies - an easy fix before stripping down other stuff.
Worth a check.

Re: R1100S rear frame removal
Heating and cooling cycles help a awful lot on studs like these. I have oxy acetylene gas welding bottles at home and they sort this job out in no time. However, the flame does make a real mess of the surrounding paint unless you make up steel sheet baffles to guard the areas you don't want damaged....

Re: have we immunity from the BHP infection?
And here's me having to slipstream R1's, Gixxer's and Blades coming round the last right hander at the 'Ring just to be able to drag the R11S up to 140+ before they pulled away on the long straight before the cafe. That's when I bought a Gixxer 1000 myself, much less work to go faster. But, still go...
