Corbin low seat.
Low seat for the R1100S by Corbin. Ideal for riders who are a bit shorter in the leg it uses high-density foam to make up for the lack of thickness. It's in very good condition with minimal signs of use and has a soft pad set underneath to keep the toolkit in place. Also includes two nice knurled sc...

WTD: valve covers any condition
I am having my engine blasted and painted but I want to fit old valve covers on it to cover the valve gear. If anyone has old covers for the 2-spark engine please let me know. I don't mind if they are damaged, even cracked or holed as they are only for temporary use. Must be for the 2-spark model. T...

No clock or dash lights - faults fixed for info only.
I had my bike stolen a few weeks ago and got my bike back but after fixing the damage (front frame, top yoke, ignition barrel) I found that I had no dash lights or clock. I stripped the dash down and found that the dash lights did not work because every dash backlight bulb was blown - so nothing to ...

Bike nicked parts needed.
I need some parts after a bunch of youths smashed the locks on my bike and pushed it down the road. Thankfully the cops took chase and nicked one of them but I need the following parts asap: 1. Ignition switch complete assembly. Key, lock, switch and loom. (I would have only needed the switch and ho...

Re: Engine for sale North Kent
Bump, still here, needs to go before it turns into a lump of solid aluminium oxide. It's now a short engine (minus throttles, cooler, alternator) so take it away for £50.

Re: R1100S rear frame removal
All of the engine bolts are through-bolts so the only option is to knock them out. They are probably 'waisted' too so they will only be corroded on the ends. If I was faced with your problem I would put over-length nuts onto the threaded ends and wind them in until they are one thread from tight, th...

If it works loose again Rufus stick some threadlock on it. That's what I had to do.

Check first that the nut hasn't started coming undone. They are fitted with threadlock but if it's been off and back on again it can work loose.

Re: R1100S - Intermitent Neutral Light
Yeah it's a rotary switch from what I can see. I never had to take one apart. Here's a photo of mine with the clip I released using very long nosed pliers. I didn't remove it fully because I didn't want the headache of getting it back into place. I suggest holding the clip ends in with a tiny wire o...
