TwinMax

I bought a Twin max a while back and it came without the manifold adaptors. I ordered some from Calamander in April and they are still telling me they cant get them. Anyone know another source for them?

My other bike is one of these. It's a 1954 Sport. I spent 2 years restoring it and it is a blast to ride.

To be honest, as I have never visited a dealer in the last 10 years,...

I use a Ventura Sport Rack with the small Sport Pack for everyday use as a sort of mini top box, with the System Panniers for longer trips,

OAPs

Working people frequently ask retired people what they do to make their days interesting. Well, for example, the other day my wife and I went to town and went into a shop. We were only in there for about 5 minutes. When we came out, there was a policeman writing out a parking ticket. We went up to h...

You are thinking of the other Roger Slater, who with his brother Richard, ran Slater Laverda and developed the Jota. Roger moved to Seattle some years ago and was, or maybe still is, the US importer for Brembo.

Richard still runs Slater Laverda, just outside Bromyard.

Thanks to all who replied. Took the bike out to warm it up and it is running fine again. Bern came over and we checked it with the Twinmax and it was as near as perfect, just a small tweak needed. So you can get it right with the Carbtune, but I can see that the Twinmax is more sensitive and quicker...

Hi Bern,

Forgot to say that I have done a compression test and they are fine, so no need for that.

Thanks for all the advice guys. I had another go today and found that if you use the Morgantune upside down it is a lot more sensitive (picked that up somewhere on the interweb). It now is idling at 1100 and seems smooth through the range, but I did not have time for a road test, which I will do tom...
