Steve,

Very decent of you and all that.

I see most people are taking advantage and asking for very expensive exotica, let's go in a slightly different direction

Can I have please a mint, low mileage 1987 midnight black FJ1200, and a low miles, mint K100RS 16V.

Thank you

I think your hand will be snapped off at that price. The mileage is on the high side if you look at it from a Jap four perspective, but to the initiated it is just run in. The biggest problem to repair ( clutch) has been done and you have serious trick bits on there. You did not mention the adjustab...

1200S

+1 on the 'patent nonsense' about the 1200S

Stonking machine that is a big grin inducer. If you liked the 1100S its just a bit more of the experience, plus lighter and better handling.

It is no good as a pillion machine ( unless you really dislike said passenger :D )

R1200S

Dazman, The 1200S is a great bike. I bought mine this year and it has a stonking engine, and is much lighter than the 1100s. The pick up and handling are really intoxicating. It has what I call 'real world' power, all between 40-90mph, usable on the road without getting into stupid fast tomfoolery. ...

This is indicative of ball joint wear. My first one (2000) did this and a new ball joint was the answer :D

New bike

Gary, Congratulations, super looking bike. Same colour as mine, and mileage, and I looked for a long time to find the right one. Looks like you have found a truly immaculate example. Colour scheme is the sophisticated version of the Boxer Cup :D FYI and just in case you are wondering, the seat cover...
