Funnily enough I had cause to use the Trim Centre in Hove last week for a car related repair and they did a great job. So, I spoke to him about recovering my slippy R1200S seat and the boss seemed on the ball and aware of what I needed -i.e. a non sloppy seat comfortable for 200 miles but not deeply...

Problem
Nik,
sorry to hear of a potential fault with the bike. Good luck with the 'thrash' idea.
It will be very bad luck to have a pump go at 10,000 miles- fingers crossed for you

Which One
If, you mean the belly pan, it is the Ilmberger. The exhaust is the Akrapovic. I had the 1100S on the left until I saw this 1200 and even though I really liked the 11 I knew the 1200 was the next logical step. I kept both for a while but the 1100 wasn't used and it was sold to Motocod on this forum....

Watched the first few minutes and thought that maybe the wrong clip was attached, but it soon became clear !! He used up a rather large dose of luck that day. Someone once told me that you start life with a bucket in each hand, one labelled 'luck' and the other 'experience'. As life proceeds, the lu...

R1200s seat mods
Greetings boxer community, I have managed to secure an extra rider's seat for my bike and want to modify it so that it is (a) not as mega slippy, and (b) more comfortable than the original. So, I would be grateful to hear from any members that have modified their seat ( I know lots of folk think the...

Starting
Sounds like starter motor, situated just above gear linkage inside a plastic housing which is secured by a nut facing backwards that is a joy (not) to remove. These go fairly often and cost about £80 new. easy fix. Generally it is the brushes that you can do yourself if minded to. http://www.motorwo...

Hellboy, I did the same as you last April, and swore to keep my 11S - best bike i ever owned. Six weeks later I sold it to Motocod who was looking for a 11S on this forum. I just did not ride it once I had the two sat next to each other. So, good luck with the dilemma ! Only thing I would add is tha...
