Soft Bag for rear seat.

It’s the Motorrad 55 litre jobbie. Bought about 10 years ago for my K1300S, so it’s the silver/grey colour bag and not the newer style. I also used it on a R1200S and R1100S and was great on all of them. In total only used on about 5 tours so still in good condition. All the zips work and it’s total...

Re: Item you didn’t buy ...

Another item I was after was the headers from Wonderlich. Again I was too late and they stopped selling them. Roll on a few years and I saw a brand new set on eBay USA for much less than the original asking price. Now sitting on a shelf in my garage along with one of those fancy dan Italian triple e...

Item you didn’t buy ...

... when you had the chance to. Over the years I finally realised that it you see something you want/need then don’t dilly dally, just get it bought. Because if you don’t when you finally get around to it the item may no longer be available. For my 1100S I always intended to buy a rear seat cover fr...

Re: Boxertrix Roll of Honour: Most prolific posters

Great photos Paul, thanks for posting them up. Some questionable colour schemes for sure :D
I was slow coming over here from the Yahoo site, it was only when it was myself left there and a few new guys that I shepherded here. I’m still lazy as f***.

Re: has everyone died ?

 apologies to Chris for dragging the thread way off beam.
So, this bike? Anyone here young enough to tame the beast? To be honest it’s far too much for me!
(Thanks guys for the tele pointers - appreciated)

Re: Lovely gift...

Ten years old? He’s fobbed you off with the old stuff Steve. You’d be better off with some Beaujolais Nouveau.

Very nice touch by John. Enjoy!

Re: has everyone died ?

It’s not a bike I need, it’s a new tele. When did that get so complicated? I need a degree in electronics to understand all the features available these days. The spotty oiks in Curry’s (won’t be putting my money their way - appalling customer service) aren’t interested in explaining and who can bla...

The weather today reminds us all that we don’t live in California. Until I do, I’m going to postpone my purchase.

That’s bizarre. It’s no longer a racer surely? Just buy a GS and have done with it.

Re: R18 landed

I have to say I quite like it. Mind you my eyes are overdue a test. This has to be the biggest boxer engine that will ever be built and it must be a laugh to ride. How many will be sold in the Uk I don’t know, it’s more a State side bike surely? The appeal to me is that you wouldn’t see another one ...

Re: Upgraded Cam Chain Tensioner

I’ve got the bits and pieces here Greg, just not fitted it yet as the bike is low mileage.
I’ve got a set of rocket sprockets to go on so i’ll probably fit everything at the same time. I’ve been saying that for a few years now!
If there is rattling noises coming from your engine then? I hope not!
