I also use the left as ref and adjust the right on the 1100s ,but just used it on the cbr and it was bloody great tickover solid as a rock and a new found sweetness across the rev range.

I have set up these on my 2 aprilias and daytona and cbr,make a point of going in to neutral and change gear slowly and also the higher gears need alot more rev`s to get it to learn them. i saw 110 mph on the speedo in 6th on my rsv on the paddock stand :shock:

i have 6 optimates and they all have done the red light thing at some time,my rsv did 7 years on the oe battery.just watch the acid level if you have one of those batterys as it does drip over time.
