Yellow R1200S for sale

2006 BMW R1200S
I bought this bike in 2015 with the intention of commuting 170 miles a day between Cirencester and Heathrow. The bike did the job admirably well- tank range is easily up to the job, and I was averaging just over 54mpg- but the constant misery of the M4 took any enjoyment out of it, consequently I’ve decided to sell.
It’s a ‘standard’ yellow model with 5.5” back rim and standard suspension. It has 22,095 miles on the clock and comes with BMW panniers and subframe.
It has a full service history; by BMW dealerships up until 2015 when I used a local Yamaha dealer, and a full service a week ago by the same dealer. It had a new battery fitted and a full year’s MoT.
The only advisory was for the back tyre which is quite squared off from predominantly motorway miles. It has some life in it but will need replacing soon.
I have a recall letter for the rear brake flange; after trying to get the service dept of Gloucester BMW to return my call for several weeks I eventually gave up and didn’t get round to it! The bike isn’t currently taxed which is why I haven’t done it (and the tyre) prior to putting the bike up for sale. I have priced the bike accordingly at £3900 but will of course consider serious offers.
I thought I'd give forum members first shout before listing on ebay (at a slightly higher price).
Thanks, Andy
