Hi I have PM'd you, they are still available or if anyone else is interested please PM me, they do make a big difference to the comfort of the R1200S and you wouldn't really notice them aestheticly.

Many thanks for that I did explain to you in our text exchange on Sunday that it was a misunderstanding as I missed the word satto in you original text (maybe if you had used Saturday it would have been clearer) I waited up late for a call that never came so offered the bars to another forum member it was only on Sunday on our next TEXT exchange when realised that I had dropped a clanger, I did say I was very sorry in my text on Sunday to you. I have tried to contact the other forum member to try and come up with a solution but as yet they have not replied but if they do I will . As I am unable to turn the clock back all I can do is again apologise to you for this misunderstanding on my behalf. I was not going to benefit financially or on time by going to the other forum member other than I thought I would like someone to use them rather than them sitting in my garage cupboard.

Kind Regards

Chalky

on a side note ,,, they took me seven hours to fit ,
but i found the trick to making them real nice so ill post ,
it may help someone in the future .
i found that no matter what i did i couldnt get the clearance under the fairing clip and over the stop start switch right at all.
the simple answer after a bit of head scratching , take off the right bar controls , strip out the switch gear , then strip out the switch , its not that bad at all , there are four screws not three , ones hidden under the sticky label , very fine torx bit
a six or seven from memory
then split the switch down , it does not have a huge boing factor , all the parts stay nicely together .
take off the small circlip , remove the engine start button , then you will see what holds the engine run switch in position
two plastic legs need slightly squeezed together ,,,, then
this is the good bit ,,,,, turn the engine run switch so it fits with the leg towards you , not away ,,, the way it should have been done from the factory.......... then put the whole thing back together ,, slight buff on the champher that touches the brake master cylinder ,,, and hey presto , perfect.
the left side is a whole lot easier ,,, just the same champher to do , and a wee nick out of the base of the clutch master cyl to let the whole lever swing a wee bit further down hill , and your laughing.
hope that helps some one a wee bit.

I have a set of these helibars if anyone is after a set.
Excellent condition and, in my experience, very easy to fit!
Same price (£100)
Free post if PayPal gift or Bacs transfer.

Cheers
