Do you remember the first time?

Postby Herb » Fri May 03, 2013 3:36 pm

I have been going through old pictures looking for something for a presentation I am doing. Anyway, I found some pictures from the first time I saw a 1200s in the flesh and was completely smitten. The show model had a black seat. Not sure if they were ever sold like this cos mine is red.

It was August 2006 and I was at the Moscow motorshow. I thought I would share some of the other pics I took that week as well. Enjoy.

Back in 2006 you could still buy one of these brand new. Maybe you still can.

Here is a picture of a young lady in a van.

Or maybe you prefer blondes?

Or tall girls?

Or very tall girls. Note, flat shoes. I am 6ft tall and she towered over me. I am guessing 6ft 2 at least. The tall ones all come from Samara apparently.

And finally my favourite.

There has been a blue and white K1200S parked up in Bayswater in London all week. Very nice, but not sure about the lime green rim tape on both wheels.

Whoever he is, he should sack his fashion advisor. He was obviously never told that gents with a fuller figure should not wear horizontal stripes.
