Finally found what I was looking for to finish this off. I didn't like looking at the empty holes and I thought some sort of brace would be a good idea. I rummaged about and found an old rigging screw from sailing days.

There would appear to be a surfeit of prolixity and sesquipedalian content today please do not use a big word when a singularly un-loquacious and diminutive linguistic expression will satisfactorily accomplish the contemporary necessity

I felt the need to do it after I got punted of my previous ST and needed to relieve the pressure on my arms and back. I am now waiting on ten expensive Wunderlich kit to lower the footpegs (you have to order the three sets of components separately???).
