That looks great. The HP2 belly pan suits it well. Good work.

thanks, it was really easy to fit; the only thing I had to do was enlarge the rubber mounts as they were too tight to push the fixing bolts through. took about 30 seconds with a large drill bit, just ran the drill though it. other than that the quality is really good. It does sound really nice, i don't think it's offensive  but then I have no moral compass when it comes to loud!

Belly pan, I'm having a think, was toying with the idea of the saering one. but we'll see.. yours is a cracking job though, very nice mate.. I added some photos on another thread, Laser Zard and Bimble..

@hellboyrich

The headers look like a copy of the italian HPE headers (which are not manufactured any more).

I am using the headers off the HP2S instead (modified off course). And a copy of the HP2S belly pan ...

The quick ride out

Postby hellboyrich » Mon Jul 21, 2014 6:52 pm

 oops! Got back early from work was busy at the weekend and had not been able to get out.

Well wheeled the brute out tonight thought I know I'll be clever and go for a first spin NO BAffles to see ! Way way take the piss loud no good at all instead of enjoying the run I cut it short and headed home lesson learnt put the baffles back in what a difference thank f***

That will teach me as my original order couldn't be made and they said they can do a welded silencer system I reckon the hattech boys have just put some baffles on a set of hell fire race cans hummmmmm?

On the plus side it's a real handful now on full throttle so the full mods are

Hp2 k&n
Booster plug
De cat
Custom headers
Custom end silencers

 will report more !

Don't like the cans as they stick out so much on the back of the bike. I prefer the Zard. Fact is that the best final can is Akra. Zard is not much worse. And then comes the rest of the pack.

I guess its each to there own maybe they are a little proud but so far 99% of bikers i meet on my run have liked them and they sound stunning.

i picked the hattech guys as they are a bit different to the options out there which are all nice in their own merrits

The aka can seemed to be the most common out there and though superbly made!! its just that, i would had gone for one if they only had just thought about the design of the end can a little more and made it a bit more individual because basically its a 9series ducati end can made to fit the bmw.

i guess economies of productions come into it but at 1100 squids its not cheap

cheers rich :D
