EggRider's Ride

Postby EggRider » Wed May 04, 2005 9:13 pm

Only had my boxer a week :D and thought I'd introduce myself with some images.

My old steed and the new one (and me)

My Titan Grey/Mandarin R1100S

Not done much to it, as it came with heated grips, centerstand, 5.5" rear wheel and pannier rails.

Welcome on board Colin. Job #1 is to run it in by riding up to Burton on Trent for the mass meet up on May 14 & 15. There you will see a huge variety of tastefully modded S's to fire your imagination for improvements to yours.

If you can't make it up to Burton, watch the days out section for our regular Sunday morning southern breakfast runs.

Cheers,

Paul
You really need only two tools: WD-40 and duct tape. If it doesn't move and it should, use WD-40. If it moves and shouldn't, use the tape.

Bike's already run in - it is 2 years old with 5600 on the clock, thought it was a good deal as it had more or less everything I wanted already fitted.

Burton on Trent will be difficult as I am stewarding at Twickenham that weekend.... BELAY THAT COMMENT  just read about the BoT event and will make it if I can.

Will certainly try and make a Sunday mornin' soon though

Ah, now you see, that's another common misconception. Another 10k or so on her sir and she may start to loosen up a bit.

Cheers,

Paul - only half joking

That's my favourite std colour scheme.
Almost as fast as black.
BMW R1100S (Black)
Suzuki TL1000S (Red)

Nice bike, EggRider; I see another ex-CS rider's gone for the S. Pidcock's still got my old blue CS... guess the Givi puts people off. Might end up buying it back off them when I can convince the wife she wants a bike of her own.

Hi Colin, welcome !!

I may have seen you a few weeks ago heading south on the M3 near Winchester in the company of another S (blue?). I was in the cage with herself and the squids and was very envious.

Like the colour scheme (nearly as good as black).

See you in BoT.

Mick
